Worth it? I think not. She looks like she needs "Pinkie Painkiller Pie" (not the acetaminophen crap either).

I must ask: Why is her hair all poofy if she's in Pinkamena mode?

I was just titling the piece by writing down her full name and replacing the middle one with "hangover". Sounded better in my heads.
She's not actually Pinkamena right now. :)

Ah. Well, the "Pinkie Painkiller Pie" was a drug joke.

Probably the biggest sugar crash ever!^^ (A normal pony would become diabetic and die five seconds later, so yea it is lethal.^^)

The best hangover remedy is more beer.

I heard somewhere that Gatorade helps too. Or if u drink Gatorade periodically through ur party or drinking gathering, your body doesn't get as dehidrated the morning after (which essentially is what a hangover is.)

Whether you'll get a hangover (and how much of one) also depends on what sort of alcoholic beverage you drink. It's not the actual alcohol (i.e., ethanol) that's causing the hangover as much as fusel alcohols and non-alcohol substances that give the drink its flavor. If you stick to, say, vodka (decent vodka, but that goes without saying anyway), you'll be much less likely to get a hangover.

Staying hydrated is always important, of course.

So your just saying one type of alcohol (vodka, whiskey, rum, etc.) got it:) and that's it as oppose to mixer inks with, sY, sofa in it?

No, it's not so much about the type of beverage (whisky, rum, vodka etc.) as much as about the kinds of alcohols it contains.

Chemically speaking, alcohols are an entire group of substances with a common characteristic; they include what is ordinarily called "alcohol" (ethanol), but also many substances, ranging from hazardous or even poisonous (e.g. methanol) to flavorful (so-called fusel alcohols). There's also other substances that aren't alcohols, chemically speaking, but that still contribute to a drink's flavor.

Any distiller will want to make sure that no hazardous substances are present in their product, obviously (and being able to do so is what sets a skilled stillman apart). The rest, however - fusel alcohols and other flavor-enhancing substances - may be quite welcome. But while they add flavor, they also contribute to how much of a hangover a drink will give you the next day.

Some drinks have a lot of them; some drinks have less. Vodka (if it's not the very cheapest kind) has very, very little; it's a very "pure" drink, if you will, and as such less likely to give you hangovers. On the other end of the scale, I've heard certain kinds of low-quality sake being referred to as "hangover in a bottle", for instance. :) Rum and whisk(e)y are somewhere in the middle, I think.

I'm not an expert, though, so take all this with a grain of salt - and a slice of lime and some tequila. :)

I don't get hangovers.  Even when I get puking, sick, passed out drunk I always wake up with no hangover the next morning.  So I can't relate to this except the "worth it" part.  It always is for me.

not to mention it takes 3X the amount of alcohol to reach the same points of drunkenness as the average person.  I won many a drinking game because of this.

"Hangover" - another middle name? "Pinkamena Diane Fun Responsibility Hangover Pie"...

Cute picture, too. I can really feel Pinkie's pain, but as her mug says, it's worth it.

It's worth it....sometimes. I had a few incidents where my tolerance went on vacation and even though I didn't drink very much I woke up the next morning feeling like.....well like pinkie does right now.^^
