Obsessive compulsive personality disorder (OCPD) is characterized by a preoccupation with orderliness, perfectionism and maintaining control. The main symptoms are remembering small minute details and facts, rigid following of rules and regulations and a compulsion to make lists and schedules.

OCPD is often confused with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
Despite their similar names, they are actually two separate disorders. Although some people with OCPD also suffer from OCD.

I spent last Tuesday watching fibres on my carpet. And the whole time I was watching my carpet, I was worrying that I might vomit. And the whole time, I was thinking "I'm a grown mare. I should know what goes on in my head". And the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I should just magic my brains out and end it all. But then I thought, when I thought more about magicking my brains out, I started worrying about what that was going to do to my Celestia-darn carpet!
